Abstract

PURPOSE: To uniformly mix the additive to the fluid by connecting an additive feeding port to a measuring chamber formed between the circumference of the gear and the housing of a gear pump.
CONSTITUTION: An additive feeding port 10 and an additive discharge port 11 are connected to a measuring chamber 82 formed between the circumference of a gear 1 and a housing 4, 4', 4". Thus the additive is added to the fluid in the measuring chamber 82 intermittently at short frequency enabling sufficiently uniform mixing of the additive.
