Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain high power from a laser oscillator by dividing the interior of a laser gas enclosing tube forming the oscillator axially into a plurality of small chambers with a plurality of partition plate disposed axially and flowing laser gas while crossing the discharging area alternately in reverse direction, thereby increasing the cooling effect. CONSTITUTION:A glass tube 91 having good insulation so as not to leak the laser gas externally form an oscillation zone is used, and He, Ne, CO2 necessary for CO2 gas laser are sealed as mixture gas in the tube. The outside of the tube 91 is enclosed with a glass tube 92, coolant is flowed to the space 93 therebetween, and the laser gas colliding with the inner wall of the tube 91 is cooled.
