Abstract

PURPOSE: To form laver sheets continuously, by feeding laver and water on to an endless reed screen, sucking water, dehydrating the formed sheet, and leveling the sheet with vibration.
CONSTITUTION: A prepared laver and water are fed from a header 13 onto an endless belt 3 revolving around a sheet forming part and a drying chamber, mixed with a pressurized water from a waterheader 14 in nozzles 15, sprayed and applied onto the belt 3. The laver layer (a) on the belt 3 is vibrated by a vibrator 37 vibrating in the lateral direction by a dehydrating and leveling mechanism 36, leveled by an air suction cylinder 41 and dehydrated. The resultant laver sheet is then dried in a drying chamber by the progress of the belt 3 and stripped from the belt 3.
