Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a tea of medicinal herb readily drinkable, effective for health promation and fatigue recovery, by treating a low, striped bamboo("Sasa albo- marginate") and pine needles specifically.
CONSTITUTION: A proper blend of a low, striped bamboo and pine needles are teamed by heated steam and dried. The blend is subjected to high-frequency heating and cut into pieces. These bamboo and pine needles are blended properly with granular ginseng and leaves of green tea, e.g., green tea of middle tea, to give a tea of medicinal herb. The tea of medicinal herb is put in a bag having water permeability properly for use. Warm water obtained by boiling ordinarily the low, striped bamboo or pine needles usually is not readily drinkable because of their bitterness and strong smell, but the tea of medicinal herb becomes drinkable as much as common green tea.
