Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the insertion of a steel frame into a grout bed, by a method wherein a reinforcing bar, inserted into a grout bed formed to a given depth in a foundation ground, is constituted such that a spreading branch frame is positioned so that it can freely stretch outward from a hollow casing.
CONSTITUTION: In a device in which, in order to improve a foundation ground, a grout bed A is formed by an appropriate means and a steel member is inserted into the grout bed A, the steel frame member is divided into a plurality of parts and consists of casings 1 which are coupled for securing by means of coupling pieces 2 after the assembly. A rod-form frame 3, whereto one end of a spreading branch frame is knotted in an umbrella type, is housed in the casing 1 through a guide ring 5. The forward end of each spreading branch frame is inserted through an induction aperture 6 bored in the casing 1. With this, the casing 1 is inserted into the grout bed A, the spreading branch frame 4 is stretched as shown in a dashed line with the frame 3 lowered by press. Then, the upper end of the casing is sealed with a cap 10.
