Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to maintain a room at a proper temperature and humidity by a method wherein an exhaust and suction window, whereat a ventilating fan is installed, are formed in a side wall of the gable of a garret, and additionally, a thermostat and humidystat are placed.
CONSTITUTION: In case a humidity in a garret air layer 11 rises above a set value, a ventilating fan 43 automatically operates to open a shutter 41, to forcibly exhaust air to the outside, and simultaneously, to circulate a cool air in a space 13 under the floor into the garret air layer 11 through a wall air layer 4 to decrease a temperature in the garret air layer 11 or to exhaust air exceeding a set humidity. When a temperature in the air layer 11 is at about a set value, or when a humidity is below a set humidity, the ventilating fan 43 stops working to suspend forced ventilation and a gravity ventilation is conducted through a suction window 40 mounted in the side wall.
