Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase thermal efficiency, by a method wherein contact of air flow to fins is increased, in a heat exchanger consisting of plate fins and pipes which pierce through the fins.
CONSTITUTION: The circular tube 3', consisting of a plurality of plate fins 1', provided with fitting holes 4', is formed, and a tube 2' is inserted in the fitting holes 4', in order that the tube 2' crosses at right angles with the fins 1', as well as it is jointed to the circular tube 3', by expanding force of the tube, itself. The anchoring parts 6', bending the end of tube 3' outside to make an acute angles, turning a tip to the side of fins 1', are provided, and intervals between fins 1' are maintained in a fixed width, by the anchoring parts 6'. With such an arrangement, the air flow flowing among fins 1' turns into turbulence, the contact of air flow to the fins 1' is increased, so that the heat exchanging rate is increased.
