Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor with limited output errors easily by winding an exciting coil on a ring core toroidally, first and second output coils together thereon toroidally and then, connecting the coils cut at specified points. CONSTITUTION:An AC exciting coil 3 is wound toroidally on the entire circum- ferential surface of a high magnetic-permeability magnetic ring core 2. Two output coils 4 and 5 are wound thereon together while connection parts 4a-4c and 5a-5c are provided at such points that an angular difference from the center of the core 2 is 90 deg. starting from the initial end of the winding. The windings 4 and 5 are con- nected differentially and in a symmetrical shape with an angular difference of 90 deg. each with respect to an AC signal to be applied on the exciting winding 3 by pro- perly cutting each connection part. This can make the average diameter of the wind- ings 4 and 5 equal thereby minimizing the output errors while simplifying the wind- ing work.
