Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation and removal of a cylindrical receptacle to and from a seal device, to lengthen an elastic ring, to remove an air leak, and to enable to perform an accurate test, by a method wherein a nozzle sliding mechansim is mounted at an end of a pressure air nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A middle part of a pressure air nozzle 9, provided with a large- calibred forward end 9b, is slidably inserted into an inner cylinder 7, and an elastic ring 10 is fitted in the outer periphery of the nozzle 9 between a staged part 9a of the large-calibred forward end 9b and the forward end surface of the inner cylinder 7. An outer cylinder 8 is concentrically secured with a given play between the outer cylinder 9 and the inner cylinder 7 and between the cylinder 9 and the outer periphery of the forward end 9b, and a nozzle sliding mechanism, consisting of a handle 12 and a cam plate 13, is attached to a terminal part 9a of the nozzle 9. This facilitates the installation and removal of a cylindrical receptacle to and from a seal device.
