Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable of a suspension sample liquid in a suspension state and to simplify an operation, by providing a filter with a stopper, which is airtightly attached to an empty cuvette mounted in a photometer, and a tube which is inserted into a cuvette containing a suspension liquid. CONSTITUTION:Both cuvette 1 and 8 are mounted at the inside of a sample chamber of a photometer, and a rubber 9 of a filter is airtightly attached to the cuvette 8. An end of a tube 10, connected to a porous filter 3, is inserted into a suspension liquid 2 in the cuvette 1. If the suspension liquid is induced into the cuvette 8 by means of a suction pump, the suspension liquid 2 in the cuvette is filtered through the porous filter 3, and only a filtered liquid 4 is collected to the cuvette 8 for measuring the filtered liquid. This causes collection of the filtered liquid to the cuvette in the photometer, which results in enabling to simplify an operation.
