Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the condensation effect and transmission effect of a cylindrical Fresnel lens by making the nonoptical surface of a Fresnel element into an optical surface having a specific angle to incident light while considering the radius of curvature and the thickness of the cylindrical Fresnel lens. CONSTITUTION:When U1' and U2' are angles between emitted light beams and optical axes of the 1st surface 2 and 2nd surface 3 and N is refractivity, alpha obtained by tan<-1>(sinU2'-N.sinU1')/(cosU2'-N 1') is an angle between an optical surface 4 and a surface perpendicular to an optical axis.
