CONSTITUTION:The output of a photometric element 11 is sent to a comparator CP2 through a head amplifier 10. A power voltage VCC, on the other hand, is applied to a comparator CP3 through voltage-dividing resistances 25 and 26. The outputs of both the comparators are inputted to the base of a transistor 37 through prescribed logical circuits to obtain a drive signal for a display element 38. The closure of a release-button coupling witch SW2, turns on the element continuously for a time determined by the output of an FFRSF4 among inputs to a gate 34 when a power source and subject's luminance are normal, flickers the element for a time determined by repetitive pulses of a gate 45 when the luminance decreases, or turns off it when the power source is exhausted.
