Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a cassette and a reel base, by detecting an insertion error due to the fact that a detecting member and an insertion error cassette are made to press-contact with each other, and also inhibiting the movement of a cassette housing by the detecting member. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 2 is inserted into a cassette housing 1, and after that, when the cassette housing 1 is depressed downward, an arm 4 is turned counter- clockwise centering around pinches 5, 11, and a slide plate 8 fitted into an arm 3 slides to the right against the force of a spring 16. When the cassette 2 is correctly inserted into the housing 1, a cassette insertion error detecting pin 12 goes into a hollowed part 2a of the cassette 2 through a hole 1a of the cassette housing 1. In this state, the cassette housing 1 is locked by the lock mechanism, and correct loading of the cassette 2 is completed. In this state, the detecting pin 12 is energized upward by a spring 14, and a lower end part 12a of the pin 12 does not enter into the hole part of the slide plate 8, therefore, the slide plate 8 slides up to a position shown in the figure.
