CONSTITUTION:A tape cassette 1 is constituted by fitting a pair of reel hubs 7 into ring-like flanges 60-63 projected on the outside circumference of through-holes 56-59 of the lower and upper halves 2, 3 through a lubricating sheet 64. A lower end 84 of an inner rib 83 of the reel hub 7 is placed on a plane part 85 in the circumference of through-holes 65, 66 of the lubricating sheet 64 placed on the lower half 2 side, that is to say, the plane part 85 formed between two projecting parts 74, 75 which have been formed in parallel so as to be extended along both the sides of a pair of through-holes 65, 66 and also an outer rib 82 is slightly separated from on the projecting parts 74, 75 of the lubricating sheet 64, or contacts lightly with them.
