This adding circuit SP consists of a synchronizing separating circuit SEP, monostable multivibrators MM1-MM4, level adjusting equipments 3 and 4, a mixing amplifier MA, etc. On a basis of the time position of the horizontal synchronizing signal of the composite color video signal, a composite color video signal where the disturbing signal having required pulse width and amplitude is added in a prescribed time position is generated.
