Abstract

PURPOSE: To give an aesthetic taste to products by stacking a required number of box bodies made so as to conform to the body to be cast, and forming the parts to be cast on the box bodies by means of sands of respectively different grain sizes.
CONSTITUTION: A required number of box bodies A which are made so as to conform to arbitrary bodies to be cast are stacked and the parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to be cast are formed on the bodies A by sands of respectively different grain sizes, thence molten metal is supplied through a sprue 7. Hence, the casting has 6 kinds of different casting surfaces which are not monotonous and for which various changing textures and patterns are obtained.
