Abstract
PURPOSE: To mold a complicated hollow article having protruded part by a simple means by a method wherein a split core forcedly closed to a direction reducing a diameter thereof is used and a leaf spring enlarging the diameter of said split core is operated by a contact member.
CONSTITUTION: A split core 3 with a truncated shape and a split core 4 with a fan shape forcedly closed so as to reduce a diameter thereof to an axial direction are respectively opened widely to a predetermined position by a leaf spring 7 (a mark 7a is a slit in order to facilitate bending) fixedly provided to a leading end of a drawing rod (a leaf spring holding member) 6 and, after a predetermined cavity (not shown) is covered therearound, a synthetic resin is injected between the cavity and the split cores. Next, when the leaf spring 7 is bent by drawing the drawing rod 6 to a right direction to contact a leading end of a core ring 8 with the leaf spring 7, the split cores 3, 4 are contracted in this order and, therefore, a molded product having an undercut part or the like can be easily demolded.
