Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling effect and strength of the entitled dynamometer by forming members constituting cooling channels and yorks accommodating a coil with 2 unifying parts respectively close to an inductor and passing cooling water through a lot of radial and ring-like channels. CONSTITUTION:Inner ring parts 4, 4 including water channels 10 are installed so as to put a rotor 2 between them, which is attached to a rotary shaft 1 coupling a part to be measured. The yorks 3, 3 of a coil 5 are formed so to form one body with the inner ring parts 4, 4 and a lid member 7 forming the channels 10 is clamped with bolts. A bearing support 6 unified with the lid member 7 is supported by a fixed pedestal 8 through bearings 9, 9' which can be oscillated. Many radial channels 10 are formed, the lid member 7 is provided with flowing water channels 14a-14d and holes are provided in a diaphragm 11 for communicating the water channels 10 with flowing water channels 14a-14d, making cooling water flow in parallel or series either in a large quantity of water at low pressure or a small quantity of water at high pressure. Thus, the dynamometer with the increased cooling effect and improved strength can be produced.
