Abstract

PURPOSE:To test the dielectric strength of plural pieces of molded articles simultaneously with simple means by fixing plural pieces of the molded articles collectively to a ground electrode provided with plural recesses and impressing voltage thereto. CONSTITUTION:Voltage impressing terminals 17 are inserted to the voltage impressing side of plural pieces of molded insulating cylinders 1 and are touched at one end to semiconductor layers 3. They are blinded as examplified by 16 at the other end. Such objects 13 to be tested are placed in the recesses of a ground electrode 12 made of a copper plate provided with plural pieces of the recesses of the shape conforming roughly to the outside circumferential semicircular parts of semiconductor layers 2, and are collectively fixed from above by means of a holding plate 14 formed in the shape symmetrical with the ground electrode by using bolts. The conductive end parts 8 of the respective terminals 17 of the objects 13 are connected in series and voltage is impressed between the terminals 17 on the high voltage side and the electrode 12, whereby the dielectric strength test of plural pieces of the objects 13 is accomplished collectively and simultaneously.
