This separation wall 17 is made of porous material like ceramic. Besides, a phosphor 18 which determines the quality of light radiated to the external is uniformly applied on the tube wall surface which forms each discharge paths 16a and 16b and on the front and rear faces of the separation wall 17. The discharge in the discharge paths 16a and 16b can be controlled by the external magnetic field.
