Abstract
PURPOSE:To multiplex a plurality of different information at optical regions through the use of different wavelengths, by allocating periodic pass bands at a frequency region so that they are not overlapped to respective channels. CONSTITUTION:Pass bands of filters having periodic pass bands are located alternately so that they are not overlapped. Thus, pass bands of other (n-1) channels can be located without being overlapped during one period of the pass band of a channel, where n is a degree of multiplexing. The wavelength multiplex optical transmission technology like this can especially effective to an optical transmission system which uses a semiconductor laser having cleavage as a light source.
