Abstract
PURPOSE:To absorb both low frequency deviation input and high frequency deviation input by restraining the expansion of a hollow resilient cylinder in such a way that the cylinder has an inclination and an annular member provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:A compound engine mount 1 has a hollow cylinder 2 made of a resilient material with frame boads 3, 4 fixed thereto by valcanizing agent, wherein an engine side mounting member 5 and a frame side mounting member 7 are fixed on said frame boards 3, 4 respectively, and mounting bolts 9, 10 are fixed to said mounting members 5, 7 respectively. A diaphragm 11 and a partition wall 12 are fixedly clamped by the frame board 3 and the mounting member 5, while the first and second working liquid chamber 13, 15, which are communicated with each other via an orifice 14, and a volume compensation chamber 16 are formed. The cylinder 2 has an inclination in such a way that the diameter of its central part is smaller than those of both end parts, while an annular member 17, which is made of a material whose Young's modulus is larger than that of the resilient material of the cylinder 2, is fixed on the outside of the central part by a valcanizing agent.
