Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow to reduce fatigue of the driver with steering operation by detecting the running condition of the car by the change speed lever, and making load of steering adjustable in accordance with the speed change condition.
CONSTITUTION: Casing 11 is installed with an inlet port 12 which is connected with the discharge side of the pump, an exit side port 13 connected to the reaction control valve side of the steering device and a by-pass port 14 connected with the suction side of the pump parallel with the port 12, and a metering orifice 28 formed in the port 12 and a change over valve 29 installed in the port 13 are connected with a by-path way 32. The said change over valve 29 is interlocked with the change speed lever so that the valve 29 is open or close in accordance with the position of the lever. A spool valve 17 is installed between the port 12 and the port 14.
