Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a vulcanizing machine that can be used for both radial tyres and conventional tyres by giving the center post a double shaft construction that can move up and down relatively and providing a stopper to the stroke end of each shaft at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: In a tyre vulcanizing machine that has a center post capable of moving up and down and holding the upper end of a bladder for vulcanizing the center post consists of a double construction that can move up and down relatively, that is, the center post has a central center post 8 and an outer center post 29 with a larger diameter, and the respective stroke ends of the center posts 8 and 29 are provided respectively with stoppers 8a and 29a which prevent coming-off of the center posts 8 and 29. Because of the double construction, the post stroke can be made longer, which makes it possible to vulcanize not only radial tyres but also the conventional tyres.
