Abstract

PURPOSE: To make setting of manuscripts expeditious and display the manuscripts within the same visual field by a method wherein the display of a manuscript in a manuscript case and an input data display are alternatively changed over using a half-mirror in an input device used to display input data and manuscripts.
CONSTITUTION: A manuscript case 20 holding a manuscript 25 is inserted into a manuscript fitting portion 19. When a manuscript display portion 10 is boosted using a changeover switch, a vitrified inverted character image of the manuscript 25 is turned upside down by a half-mirror 11, which reflects a normal character image through a window 2. On the other hand, when a data display means is boosted using the changeover switch, an input data is displayed on a CRT display 90 and the data can be confirmed through the half-mirror 11 and the window 32. Therefore, setting of manuscripts is facilitated, while input data and manuscripts can be displayed alternatively within the same visual field.
