Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure prevention of rain water invasion and maintenance of effective sectional area of the path of an atmosphere introducing port, by providing a flange continuously fixed water-tight to the area covering from the horizontal wall to the vertical wall of a dash panel upper.
CONSTITUTION: A peripheral side wall 23 is provided on its lower and rear ends with an flange 24 projecting outward which is fixed continuously water-tight to the area covering from the horizontal wall it to the vertical wall 8 of a dash panel upper 9. Since the peripheral side wall 23 surrounds inclusively both atmosphere introducing ports 12, and 15, rain water or the like is not allowed to invade a vehicle chamber through the atmosphere introducing port 12 along the side walls 19, 19 even if vihicles are parked on a slope. Also, effective path areas of both atmosphere introducing ports 12, 15 are ensured sufficiently through an opening 21 of the peripheral side wall 23.
