Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a smooth movement of an engine conveying platform, by a method wherein a device is provided with a support table with rollers, which supports the engine conveying platform so that it can move the platform in a conveying-in and a conveying-out direction, a means for elevating the supporting stand, and a pushing-up stand which pushes upward the engine conveying platform. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 3 for supporting and guiding an engine conveying platform are attached by pins at equal intervals in a longitudinal direction at rising parts 2 at both sides of a support stand 1 which is vertically movably supported by a first elevating cylinder unit 4. A pushing-up stand 5 is vertically movably supported by a second cylinder unit concentrically and monolithically united with the first cylinder unit 4 to push upward an engine conveying platform 6. The appropriate vertical movement of the support stand 1 with rollers and pushing-up stand 5 permits the engine conveying platform 6 to perform operations to smoothly convey in and out the engine by a simple means.
