PURPOSE:To enable omission of one of a pair of supply lines by a method wherein the signal components of signals different in phase, having mutually-overlapping polarities, are rectified by diodes to serve as a supply source for the side receiving the signal. CONSTITUTION:Clocks 46 and 47 which are different in phase and whose positive- polarity pulses do not overlap each other are impressed from the first IC21 containing a time standard unit, etc. on the CMOS inverter of the second IC22 including an analog display part, etc. through a positive-polarity supply source via a positive- polarity supply line 18 and through reference clock lines 14 and 15. And, while a clock employed in the IC22 is generated, the components with mutually-overlapping polarities of the clocks 46 and 47 which are different in phase are rectified through diodes 39 and 40 connected to the lines 14 and 15, and a negative supply source is formed in a power source 41 and employed in the IC22. Accordingly, one of the supply lines in a pair can be dispensed with, thereby mutual wiring between ICs is turned unnecessary, and thus the electronic clock becomes small-sized.
