Abstract
PURPOSE: an organic conductive composition having uniform conductivity, prepared by mixing an iminium cation/7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethan complex salt with a plastics.
CONSTITUTION: 20W80wt% iminium cation/7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethan complex salt) represented by formulaI or II, wherein R is a 1W8C alkyl or phenyl and TCNQ is 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethan, is mixed with 80W 20wt% plastics. The above mixing ratio of the IC complex salt is preferred because at an IC complex salt content below 20wt% a desired conductivity can not be obtained and at an IC complex salt content above 80wt% the processability of the composition becomes poor because of the powder form of the IC complex salt. Furthermore in mixing the IC complex salt with a plastics, a solvent capable of dissolving both of the components can be used or a plastics melt is mixed with a solution of the IC complex salt in a solvent which dissolves the IC complex salt only.
