Abstract

PURPOSE: A conductive resin composition having excellent moldability and mechanical properties and being useful for the production of IC part cases, etc., prepared by adding a styrene/isoprene copolymer to a composition containing PS and conductive carbon black.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising a composition containing (A) polystyrene and (B) conductive carbon black and (C) 5W90wt%, based on the total composition, styrene/isoprene copolymer. The resin composition containing components A and B only has sufficient conductivity but has defects of poor moldability, poor impact strength and poor bending strength. However, by incorporation of component C it becomes a conductive resin composition having excellent modability and mechanical properties such as impact strength and bending strength and being suitable as a material for IC part cases and antistatic cases.
