Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an adsorbing agent suitable for use of its double structure by forming an adsorbing layer with high specific surface area and adsorbing capacity on a substrate with a low specific surface area, a low adsorbing capacity and high mechanical strength.
CONSTITUTION: As an adsorbing agent used as a packing agent for gas chromatography, a catalyst for chemical reaction or the like, an adsorbing layer with a high specific area and high adsorbing capacity is formed on a surface of a substrate comprising a particle with a low specific surface area, extremely low adsorbing capacity and high mechanical strength, to obtain a double structure. Then, because gas and liquid are well adsorbed to the surface thereof but not premeate into its inside, an adsorbed amount is low as a whole. Therefore, the obtained adsorbing agent is excellent in uses for inspection and a catalyst.
