Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve strength of a supporting member against its bending in an exhaust bypass valve device open-close controlling the bypass valve of a supercharger, by providing a reinforcing extruded parts or reinforcing rib and the like to the supporting member holding a valve part.
CONSTITUTION: The valve part 1 of an exhaust bypass valve device is movably supported to a supporting member 2 by fitting a rod 6, integrally formed with the valve part 1, to a hole 7 of the supporting member 2. The supporting member 2 is formed by doubly folding a sheet material around a shaft 3 and integrally mounted to the shaft 3 by the method of welding the peripheral part 5 of said member 2 and an end part 4 of the shaft 3. In this valve device, extruded parts 31 are provided in both sides of a hole 7 in the supporting member 2 freely holding the valve part 1, in this way strength of the supporting member is reinforced at the time of its high temperature, thus bending of the supporting member 2 can be prevented.
