Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate parallel operation and to read an input and an output state easily by assigning characteristic absolute addresses to programmable controllers and storing all progtams in each controller. CONSTITUTION:Programmable controllers (PC) PC1, PC2 and PC3 are provided with dedicated transmitting circuits IF1, IF2 and IF3 for transmitting information among the PCs, and they are connected mutually by a transmission line T. Absolute addresses are assigned to sequence programs of the respective PCs. For example, the absolute address of one sequence program to be executed by the PC1 has the most significant digit 1. Signals among the PCs are given specific absolute addresses respectively. Every PC stores all sequence programs to read all input and output states by itself.
