Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the total weight of a body by making a mirror box of a metal by press formation, and by constituting a front plate by inserting part of the metal part into a plastic part which forms a fitting pedestal and a wing part for a photographic lens. CONSTITUTION:A fitting pedestal 61 and a wing part 62 for a photographic lens are made of plastic, and a mirror box is made of a metal to constitute a front plate 2 by the metal part 7 and plastic part 6. The metal part 7 has a fitting part composed of fitting holes 9i, 9j, 10i, and 10j for a camera body 1, and another fitting part composed of fitting holes 9k, 10k, 12d, and 12e for a mount 14 for the photographic lens. The metal part 7 at the fitting part side of the mount 14 is inserted as a frame partially into the plastic part 6 to constitute the plastic part 6 and metal part 7 in one body, and consequently stiff structure is obtained between the fitting part of the camera body 1 and the mount fitting part to couple the front plate 2 with the camera body 1.
