Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a compact and light weight configuration and to alleviate the effect of magnetic noises by making a coil of a flat shaped brusheless motor and a magnet at the bottom part of a lower cylinder face each other, with the coil being directed downward and the magnet upward, and covering said coil and magnet by a cup shaped shield case. CONSTITUTION:A stator, which comprises a wiring substrate 30 to which a flat, annular stator yoke 3' and a magnetism sensing element 4' are fixed and an air- core, flat stator coil 2, is fixed to the bottom part of the lower cylinder 12 via an adapter 19, with the stator being directed downward. A rotor, which comprises a rotor magnet 1 whose flat surface is equally divided with e.g. eight fan shaped poles and magnetized and a rotor yoke 6' which holds said rotor magnet 1, is fixed to a rotor shaft 18 under the stator, with the pole surface of the magnet being directed upward. The outside of the stator and the rotor are covered by the cup shaped shield case.
