Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the stable characteristics of the operation of the electric vehicle by composing an arithmetical section of frequency instructions of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:DCs are supplied to an inverter 3 through a pantograph 2 from a DC stringing 1. The inverter 3 feeds the three-phase ACs of variable voltage and variable frequency to an induction motor 4. Voltage corresponding to slip frequency from a slip frequency setter is converted into digital signals by means of an A/D converter 7 through a time constant circuit 6, and inputted to the microcomputer 8. The speed detecting signals of the car from a speed generator 9 are inputted to the microcomputer 8 through a waveform shaping circuit 10. The output frequency of the inverter 3 is controlled by the output of the microcomputer 8.
