Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure firmly a cushion member to a frame member of a pane structure of a seat, in which seat the scushion member is put or inserted in the frame member, by engaging an engagement portion formed on a shaping frame of the cushion member with an engagement portion of the frame member.
CONSTITUTION: A seat back is constructed by fitting a cushion member 17 into a frame member 4 of a pane structure. In particular, the frame member 4 has an U-shape rib 11 and a horizontal rib 12 in an interior of the frame 4. Two pairs of headrest support ribs 13, 14 and 13', 14' are formed on or protruded from an upper edge of the frame 4 and the horizontal rib 12 so as to hold stays 9 of the headrest in the passed condition through the support ribs 13, 14 and 13', 14'. An engagement rib 15 is formed between the ribs 13, 14. While, a shaped wire 18 of a shaping frame member is buried in the cushion member 17. In this way, the frame member 4 and the cushion member 17 are integrated by engaging an U-shape enggement portion 19 and engagement ends 20a, 20b of the shaped wire 18 respectively with a lengthen hole 15a of the engagement rib 15 and through holes 16a, 16b of the rib 11.
