Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect an optical interior wiring at corners by providing a sag made by twisting one piece of a tubular member that can contain interior wiring therein along the two surfaces forming a corner at the central part to said member, and keeping the curvature thereof within the permissible limit of optical transmission losses. CONSTITUTION:An optical interior wiring is contained in the cavity 6 of a corner protector 10 for optical interior wiring, and the protector is disposed along the corner part of an object. The protector 10 has a sagging part 1, and straight parts 2, 2a. A curvature part 3 is provided between the part 1 and the part 2 and a curvature part 3a between the part 1 and the part 2a. The curvature 4 in the part 1, and the respective curvatures in the parts 3, 3a, etc. are taken gentle in order to keep the transmission losses of the optical interior wiring contained in the cavity 6 within required limits, and the front and rear ends of the protector 10 are placed along the respective faces of a corner part 5 so that the part 1 does not overhang largely to the outside of the faces.
