Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled composition, prepared by incorporating a mixture of a pulverized herbicidal quaternary bipyridiylium salt with a pulverized phenylurea compound and a nonionic or cationic surfactant with a high polymer having the same size as them and pyranose rings, and granulating the resultant mixture.
CONSTITUTION: A granular herbicidal composition prepared by incorporating a herbicidal guaternary bipyridylium salt which is a rapid acting foliar treating agent, e.g. a 1,1'-ethylene-2,2'-bipyricylium salt, with a soil treating herbicidal phenylurea compound capable of inhibiting the growth of weeds for a long term, e.g. 1,1-dimethyl-3-phenylura, and a high polymer having pyranose rings, e.g. starch, or a derivative thereof and 1W50wt%, based on the herbicidal substance, nonionic or cationic surfactant, and granulating the reusultant mixture.
EFFECT: Good suspending propery, very safe in use and handling, and the same as an applying solution of a wettable powder.
