Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polyamide resin compsn. which can produce molded articles having an excellent appearance and color tone and good impact resistance, by belnding a specified modified polyolefin with a polyamide.
CONSTITUTION: 0.05W3wt% α,β-Unsaturated carboxylic acid or an acid derivative thereof (iii) (e.g. maleic anhydride) is added to a mixture of a polyolefin (i) having a crystallinity if 40% or higher (e.g. polyethylene having a melt index of 0.01 and a density of 0.94W0.98) and a copolymer (ii) of ethylene with a 3C or higher α- olefin having a crystallinity of 35% or lower (e.g. an ethylene-propylene copolymer), to produce a modified polyolefin. Then 5W100pts.wt. modified polyolefin is melt-mixed with 100pts.wt. polyamide (e.g. nylon 6) to produce the desired polyamide resin compsn.
