Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a phase-splitting capacitor as a voltage divder by a method wherein a phase-splitting capacitor is composed of a pair of main electrodes and an auxiliary electtode which is installed between these main electrodes in pair and a partial voltage is obtained between these main electrodes and the auxiliary electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a main switch is turned ON and a mains voltage is applied over the terminals 16 and 17 of an AC source, a main current will flow in a main coil 2 and an auxiliary current will flow in an auxiliary coul 3, but this auxiliary current is in a leading phase against the main current due to action of a phase advance capacitor between main electrodes 5 and 6, and thereby a rotor of a driving motor 1 starts revolution to run a blower. Moreover, according to this, an AC partial voltage appears between an auxiliary electrode 7 and a main electrode 6, and this partial voltage is full-wave rectified to create a DC power supply voltage as a lowered voltage source between terminals 13 and 14 for operating a radio set 18.
