Abstract
PURPOSE: An inorganic material, water-retention fiber, an adhesive and other additives are added to electrically conductive fiber under stirring and the mixture is combined with an emulsion resin and water to produce an antistatic wall coating working as a ground lead free from electric charge.
CONSTITUTION: The objective wall coating is obtained by mixing an emulsion resin and water with a mixture composed of (A) short-cut electro-conductive fiber which is made by adsorbing copper ions inside acrylic fiber or the like, (B) an inorganic material such as titanium dioxide or pigments, (C) water-retention fiber such as rayon staple fiber, cotton, which may include a high molecular thickener, and (D) an adhesive such as carboxymethylcellulose.
EFFECT: The coating material prevents the substrate from being stained by dust absorption, bringing about jamming, fluffing and snapping by discharge.
