Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably suppress the dispersion in the degree of modulation and to enable nonmodulation of the degree of modulation, by returning a feedback signal for oscillation to a connecting point between a circuit converting a modulation signal into a current and a transistor. CONSTITUTION:A conversion output of a current conversion circuit 22 is applied from the collector of a transistor TR24 to a TR2, and the gm of the TR2 is changed. As a result, the oscillating frequency of an oscillation circuit having a feedback loop consisting of a tank circuit with a capacitor C and a coil 16, TR2 and capacitors 18, 20 is changed and a frequency modulation output can be obtained. Since a feedback signal from a capacitor 14 and the coil 16 is returned to a connecting point between the TRs 2 and 24 which are not subjected to the effect of a resistance value, the amount of feedback can be decided only with the impedance value of the capacitors 18, 20. Thus, the dispersion in the degree of modulation due to the resistance value can be suppressed remarkably as conventional cases, adjustment of the degree of modulation can not be achieved, and the circuit is most suited to circuit integration.
