Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove soot adhered to the heating surface of the preheater and as well as neutralize the heating surface for the corrosion prevention by a method wherein the blow off water of the boiler is used for cleaning water.
CONSTITUTION: The feed water preheating pipe 6 is provided in an exhaust gas passage 5 disposed between the inside wall surface of a funnel stand 2 and the outside wall surface of an exhaust gas defilading tube 4 with at least one end closed providing within the funnel stand 2. A blowout pipe 9 for the blowoff water is arranged above the feed water preheating pipe 6. The boiler main body 1 and the blowout pipe 9 for the blowoff water are connected with a blowoff pipe 10 for boiler water. A drain pipe 11 formed in U shape for water seal is provided at the lower part of the funnel stand 2. Under the condition that the boiler is out of operation, the blowoff water is jetted from the blowout pipe 9 for the blowoff water to clean off the soot adhered to the feed water preheating pipe 6 and to neutralize the heating surface of the pipe 6 and then drained from the drain pipe 11.
