Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of a drain by decreasing oil supply to a compressor body with the actuation of a pressure response valve so as to prevent an excess drop of oil temperature when the compressor body is shifted from loaded operation to no-load operation, increasing heat radiation from the said body.
CONSTITUTION: When pressure in an oil separator 7 reaches no-load operating pressure, a pressure switch 15 closes and a solenoid control valve 13 opens and the air discharged from the oil separator 7 is supplied to a chamber F of the pressure response valve 19 of an oil flow control mechanism via a pipe 21. In response to this, a piston 40 is shifted against a spring 43 and a valve 41A touches a valve seat 44. By this, avaitable flow passage area of an oil pipe 16 is contacted as determined by a throttle orifice 42. As the result, the conpressor body 1 is shifted to no-load operation and even though its heat radiation is increased, oil supply to the body 1 is restricted in a small quantity, excessive lowering of oil temperarure is avoided as a whole and generation of a drain due to excessive cooling of oil in the oil separator 7 can be prevented.
