Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a feed promotor for fishes or a fish-luring agent, by digesting the internal organs and/or fleshy substances of fishes, crustaceans, or shellfishes with an enzyme, followed by adsorbing the prepared digested matters on an adsorbent.
CONSTITUTION: The internal organs and/or fleshy substances of fishes, crustaceans, and shellfishes are ground, to give a muddy matter, to which formic acid, succinic acid, citric acid, or oxalic acid is added and its pH adjusted to about 2.5W4.4. The prepared matter is subjected to self digestion while being maintained at 50W70°C under hermetically closed condition and under inert atmosphere by introducing nitrogen gas or carbon dioxide gas or cultivated by the addition of acidic protease, to give a liquefied material, which is adsorbed on an adsorbent, e.g., starch, the same weight as much as that of the liquefied material, and dried.
