Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce fuel cobsumption of a vehicle in a temperature and moisture controller for controlling the operation of a compressor by detecting the abrupt acceleration and deceleration to temporarily alter the target temperature set value. CONSTITUTION:When an acceleration and deceleration detector 10 detects an abrupt acceleration, it forcibly raises the set value of a target temperature setting unit 8' to deenergize the operation of a compressor, thereby reducing the load at the abruptly accelerating time. When the detector 10 detects an abrupt deceleration, it forcibly lowers the set value of the unit 8', thereby energizing the compressor, allowing a brake unit to utilize the kinetic energy transforming to heat. When the vehicle should frequently accelerate or stop in the ordinary running after the deceleration, the operating time of the compressor 6 can be shortened. The movement of the set value is returned to the original value at the ordinary running time after the vehicle returns to the ordinary running.
