Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a frame of accurate size on glass even if the glass is cut inaccurately, by putting a glass piece in a hollow part formed by joining 2 templates together and by injecting lead or synthetic resin into the gap between the edge of the glass piece and the inside of the hollow part.
CONSTITUTION: A cut glass piece 30 is put in a die having a hollow part 21 and a gap 22 at the inside of the recess 4a of a lower template 4, and an upper template 5 is superposed. Liq. lead or synchetic resin is injected into the gap 22 between the superposed surfaces of the templates 4, 5 to form a lead or synthetic resin frame 31 corresponding to the shape of the gap 22 on the edge of the glass piece 30. Thus, a glass piece 30 having a frame of correct outer size is obtd., and stained glass is manufactured easily.
