Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the production of a flashover from a high-voltage part through a photo fiber, by a method wherein a photo fiber, transmitting a photo signal between a detecting element and a detector, is wound in a spiral around an insulating support member to lengthen the length of the photo fiber. CONSTITUTION:A photo fiber 5 is wound in a spiral 1 from a detecting element 4, being of a high-voltage part and placed on a surface of a cone-shaped insulating support member 1 in the proximity of a high-voltage conductor 2, to the outside of a ground sheath 3 to form it such that the total length is lengthened. The photo fiber 5 is housed in a spiral recess 7 in the surface of the insulating support member 1, and the pitch of the recess at a high-voltage side is narrowed and the pitch at an earthing side widened. This permits a potential frequency of the photo fiber 5 in a longitudinal direction to be sharply reduced, and the spiral winding permits the passage of a photo signal through a part being approximately similar to the potential in the longitudinal direction, which results in enabling the improvement of a flashover in the longitudinal direction.
