Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for controlling operation of an electronically controlled room-air conditioner, which is capable of recommencing operation of the air conditioner smoothly and with ease after interruption of power supply.
CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner controlling apparatus of this invention functions to indicate interruption of power supply by flashing an indicator LED at the time t1 of re-supply of current after interruption of power supply, to operate the air conditioner under an instructed mode by flahsing the indicator LED when the operator once operates an operation switch SW1 at the time t2, and to extinguish the indicator LED by stopping operation under the instructed mode when the operation switch SW1 is operated once more at the time t3. Thus, a single operation switch SW1 for operating the air conditioner under an instructed mode can be operated smoothly and easily by controlling a series of operational modes and indications such as interruption of power supply, operation and stoppage by the operation indicator LED and corelating the indication and operation to each other at the time of recommencing operation after interruption of power supply, so that the apparatus can be handled safely and with ease.
